Blokees Champion Class Superman 2025 Model Kit Review

From making blind box kits of Transformers to straight up releasing buildable action figures, Blokees is on a roll. They've got something for everybody! It just so happens they had something for me—a model kit from one of my favorite comic book movies this year! Let's take a look at the new Blokees Champion Class Superman model kit!

I've experienced my share of Blokees model kits, but Superman is my first Blokees kit that isn't a robot or blocky thing.  Like their previous Champion Class figures, this was a stress-free build, and I snap-built Blokees Superman in like 20 minutes. It's a refreshing change of pace!

It's fun to easily take the parts out of the sprues and see all these disparate pieces of colored plastic come together to form a human arm or chest or butt. Assembly of the final figure is also smooth sailing, as each body part pegs securely in place. No loosey-goosey Superman here!

Seeing it in all its glory, I'm glad I got the Blokees Champion Class Superman. The details are spot on, the paint is immaculate, the accessories are plentiful, and the price point makes it quite the steal. For less than 20 bucks, this is a no-brainer to get for any Superman or comic book fan!

Blokees Superman stands at around 5 inches tall, which in the grand scheme of Superman action figures is quite small. It's really meant to be mixed with figures from their Champion Class line. I don't mind, since I'm well aware of the size disparity going into this line. If and when Blokees decides to make bigger figures of my favorite comic book characters is the day my wallet weeps!

Looking closely at the headsculpt, it tries its best to look like David Corenswet, but the best it could do is generic white dude Superman. It's not all bad. The sculpting is still good at such a small scale, and the paint is well applied. At the very least, this is a good-looking Superman face!

He's not just a pretty face. Blokees Superman is capable of some very super moves for a plastic model kit. Blokees could have just given him the most basic of articulation to save money and call it a day, but we not only get double jointed knees and elbows, but also butterfly shoulders, dropdown hips, and even toe hinges. In addition, the cape is also wired for maximum posing potential!

The result is a very emotive and limber action figure that's so much fun to pose it puts its McFarlane Toys figure brother to shame.

Blokees Superman comes with relevant accessories, one of which is an alternate face plate of him with a deep-set scowl and his eyes glowing the sinister red hue of his heat vision. It's easy to swap out for when you want your 2025 Superman channeling his inner Homelander.

He also comes with pairs of alternate hands! Aside from his default fists, Blokees Superman comes with a pair of hands with splayed fingers and a pair of saluting hands. Both hands add some fire ways to display Superman the way you want. And really, these should be the hands added to any Superman figure at minimum!

Last but certainly not least is a figure of Krypto! Not really an accessory when you think about it, considering it's a whole-ass figure you have to build just like Superman.

Krypto when built is an articulated bundle of joy. It's got six points of articulation that allows for some running or flying poses. The soft sculpt is in keeping with Blokees' aesthetic, but I find this Krypto to be a way cuter version than, say, the Krypto included with the McFarlane Superman. Now I have TWO good bois!

I may be singing praises for this fig, but I have one niggling issue with it: namely, the cape. The bendy wires that hold the cape together are stitched inside its edges, but they don't go all the way up the collar. This results in this gnarly looking gappage on the cape that's already fraying out of the box.

A pointy wire pushing against a soft cloth isn't gonna end well anytime soon, so I'd be very careful handling the Blokees Superman cape if I were you!

But hey, the whole model kit is cheap enough that I won't lose sleep over it. All in all, the Blokees Champion Class Superman is an exciting addition to my burgeoning Superman display. At this rate, if Blokees releases kits of characters I love, it's bought sight unseen.

I hope you found this review helpful. What's your favorite Blokees figure in your collection? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading and, while we don't yet have a real-life Superman to save us, stay safe out there.
