Cardboard Godzilla 2014 is Glorious

If you think you know your way around cardboard, think again. A 20-year-old student from Taiwan named Kai-Xiang Xhong created an amazing Godzilla (the 2014 version) sculpture out of corrugated board, glue and lots of gumption!

Dubbed Cardboard Godzilla, this amazing cardboard sculpture is nothing short of glorious, with rippling cardboard musculature and screen-accurate to boot!

And just in case people think that isn't very impressive, Xhong rigged the sculpture to light up from the inside.

Apparently this isn't the first time that Xhong messed around with cardboard to make something amazing, as he's also made a full-size cardboard Iron Man suit! The dude literally built this in a cave in his room with a box of scrap. Suck it, Tony Stark.

Since the only thing I can make out of cardboard are boxes, I'll leave the artistic stuff to dudes like Mr. Xhong here. For more Cardboard Godzilla pics, check out the links below.
